A good sex life involving satisfying encounters and a high frequency of those is essential to a healthy lifestyle with both the mind and body reaping benefits. While this act is mostly associated with steamy nights, it seems there’s more to it than just that.
Sex might be something most people go for after dark, but a study now suggests that going at it right after opening your eyes in the morning can be almost as good for health as eating healthy or exercising for a week.
Intercourse in the morning increases production of immunoglobulin A, which activates the first line of defence in the body and strengthens the immune system. It also leads to a release of oxytocin aka the happy hormone, hence lowering blood pressure and the risk of heart diseases.
So putting morning wood to good use not only gets you up and running for the day to follow, but also contributes to your health in more ways than one.
