Hyderabad: Responding to a news report published in the Deccan Chronicle regarding cruelty to animals when transporting them from one place to another, the TS government has ordered the municipal administration department to take strict action against the perpetrators. Telangana Chief Secretary, S.P. Singh has written a letter to the secretary of municipal administration and urban development asking him to personally look into the matter and take stringent action in this regard.

In his letter, the Chief Secretary referred to the news report dated December 2, 2017, captioned “No mercy For Cattle” and stated that “As this is a very serious matter, you may please look into this personally and take stringent action.
