People can be stuck in difficult situations following unexpected accidents or natural calamities, but it has been time and again seen that no disaster is bigger than human will. Whenever people have come together to help each other, they have shown that the universal spirit of humanity can work wonders.

When a 72-year-old woman slipped and got stuck in the gap between a train and the platform, commuters at the subway station came together for a courageous rescue as they worked brilliantly as a team. Dozens of commuters managed to muster enough collective strength to push a 100-tonne train to the side and save the old woman.

The extraordinary chain of events played out at a subway station in China’s Guangzhou province, as the video received thousands of shares and views on social media.
