Commuters travelling via the metro in Delhi were in for a pleasant surprise recently when a group of women suddenly started singing and dancing with abandon. Ritika Dahiya recorded and uploaded a video of the saree-clad women’s fun performance on her social media account.
In the accompanying post, Dahiya wrote that the women were returning from a village in Haryana after attending a funeral of one of the daughter’s mother-in-law. They were dancing to honour the long life of the lady who passed away.
What’s even more amazing is that the dance continued for over 30 minutes without any interruptions or complaints. Even after they got of the train, the merry group went on to dance their way down the stairs as well.
