How to install astrometry-data-2mass on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install astrometry-data-2mass

Installing astrometry-data-2mass package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install astrometry-data-2mass

Uninstall astrometry-data-2mass

To remove just astrometry-data-2mass package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove astrometry-data-2mass

Uninstall astrometry-data-2mass and it’s dependent packages

To remove the astrometry-data-2mass package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove astrometry-data-2mass

Purging astrometry-data-2mass

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of astrometry-data-2mass from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge astrometry-data-2mass

To delete configuration and/or data files of astrometry-data-2mass and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove astrometry-data-2mass
