How to install ctdb on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install ctdb

Installing ctdb package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ctdb

ctdb package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name ctdb
version 2:4.3.8+dfsg-1
description clustered database to store temporary data
subsection net

maintainer Debian Samba Maintainers

Uninstall ctdb

To remove just ctdb package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove ctdb

Uninstall ctdb and it’s dependent packages

To remove the ctdb package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ctdb

Purging ctdb

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of ctdb from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge ctdb

To delete configuration and/or data files of ctdb and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ctdb
