How to install doc-rfc-std-proposed on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install doc-rfc-std-proposed

Installing doc-rfc-std-proposed package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install doc-rfc-std-proposed

Uninstall doc-rfc-std-proposed

To remove just doc-rfc-std-proposed package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove doc-rfc-std-proposed

Uninstall doc-rfc-std-proposed and it’s dependent packages

To remove the doc-rfc-std-proposed package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove doc-rfc-std-proposed

Purging doc-rfc-std-proposed

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of doc-rfc-std-proposed from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge doc-rfc-std-proposed

To delete configuration and/or data files of doc-rfc-std-proposed and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove doc-rfc-std-proposed
