How to install gnome-panel-control on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install gnome-panel-control

Installing gnome-panel-control package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gnome-panel-control

Uninstall gnome-panel-control

To remove just gnome-panel-control package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove gnome-panel-control

Uninstall gnome-panel-control and it’s dependent packages

To remove the gnome-panel-control package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gnome-panel-control

Purging gnome-panel-control

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of gnome-panel-control from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge gnome-panel-control

To delete configuration and/or data files of gnome-panel-control and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gnome-panel-control
