How to install libpam-u2f on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install libpam-u2f

Installing libpam-u2f package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libpam-u2f

Uninstall libpam-u2f

To remove just libpam-u2f package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libpam-u2f

Uninstall libpam-u2f and it’s dependent packages

To remove the libpam-u2f package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpam-u2f

Purging libpam-u2f

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libpam-u2f from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libpam-u2f

To delete configuration and/or data files of libpam-u2f and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpam-u2f
