How to install mono-apache-server on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install mono-apache-server

Installing mono-apache-server package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mono-apache-server

Uninstall mono-apache-server

To remove just mono-apache-server package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove mono-apache-server

Uninstall mono-apache-server and it’s dependent packages

To remove the mono-apache-server package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-apache-server

Purging mono-apache-server

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of mono-apache-server from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge mono-apache-server

To delete configuration and/or data files of mono-apache-server and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-apache-server
