How to install munin on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install munin

Installing munin package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install munin

munin package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name munin
version 2.0.25-2
description network-wide graphing framework (grapher/gatherer)
subsection net
website munin-monitoring.org
maintainer Munin Debian Maintainers

Uninstall munin

To remove just munin package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove munin

Uninstall munin and it’s dependent packages

To remove the munin package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove munin

Purging munin

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of munin from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge munin

To delete configuration and/or data files of munin and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove munin
