How to install muon on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install muon

Installing muon package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install muon

muon package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name muon
version 4:5.4.3-1
description package manager for KDE
subsection kde
website projects.kde.org / projects / kde / workspace / muon
maintainer Debian/Kubuntu Qt/KDE Maintainers

Uninstall muon

To remove just muon package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove muon

Uninstall muon and it’s dependent packages

To remove the muon package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove muon

Purging muon

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of muon from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge muon

To delete configuration and/or data files of muon and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove muon
