How to install mycli on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install mycli

Installing mycli package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mycli

mycli package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name mycli
version 1.5.2-4
description CLI for MySQL/MariaDB
subsection database
website mycli.net
maintainer Lennart Weller

Uninstall mycli

To remove just mycli package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove mycli

Uninstall mycli and it’s dependent packages

To remove the mycli package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mycli

Purging mycli

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of mycli from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge mycli

To delete configuration and/or data files of mycli and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mycli
