How to install nagios-snmp-plugins on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install nagios-snmp-plugins

Installing nagios-snmp-plugins package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nagios-snmp-plugins

Uninstall nagios-snmp-plugins

To remove just nagios-snmp-plugins package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove nagios-snmp-plugins

Uninstall nagios-snmp-plugins and it’s dependent packages

To remove the nagios-snmp-plugins package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nagios-snmp-plugins

Purging nagios-snmp-plugins

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of nagios-snmp-plugins from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge nagios-snmp-plugins

To delete configuration and/or data files of nagios-snmp-plugins and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nagios-snmp-plugins
