How to install nas on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install nas

Installing nas package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nas

nas package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name nas
version 1.9.4-4
description Network Audio System – local server
subsection sound
maintainer Steve McIntyre

Uninstall nas

To remove just nas package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove nas

Uninstall nas and it’s dependent packages

To remove the nas package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nas

Purging nas

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of nas from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge nas

To delete configuration and/or data files of nas and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nas
