How to install netenv on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install netenv

Installing netenv package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install netenv

netenv package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name netenv
version 0.94.3-30
description Configure your system for different network environments
subsection admin
website netenv.sourceforge.net
maintainer Arnaud Fontaine

Uninstall netenv

To remove just netenv package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove netenv

Uninstall netenv and it’s dependent packages

To remove the netenv package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netenv

Purging netenv

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of netenv from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge netenv

To delete configuration and/or data files of netenv and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netenv
