How to install neutron-server on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install neutron-server

Installing neutron-server package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install neutron-server

description OpenStack virtual network service – server

maintainer PKG OpenStack

Uninstall neutron-server

To remove just neutron-server package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove neutron-server

Uninstall neutron-server and it’s dependent packages

To remove the neutron-server package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove neutron-server

Purging neutron-server

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of neutron-server from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge neutron-server

To delete configuration and/or data files of neutron-server and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove neutron-server
