How to install nfdump-flow-tools on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install nfdump-flow-tools

Installing nfdump-flow-tools package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nfdump-flow-tools

Uninstall nfdump-flow-tools

To remove just nfdump-flow-tools package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove nfdump-flow-tools

Uninstall nfdump-flow-tools and it’s dependent packages

To remove the nfdump-flow-tools package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nfdump-flow-tools

Purging nfdump-flow-tools

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of nfdump-flow-tools from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge nfdump-flow-tools

To delete configuration and/or data files of nfdump-flow-tools and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nfdump-flow-tools
