How to install nfs-kernel-server on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install nfs-kernel-server

Installing nfs-kernel-server package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nfs-kernel-server

Uninstall nfs-kernel-server

To remove just nfs-kernel-server package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove nfs-kernel-server

Uninstall nfs-kernel-server and it’s dependent packages

To remove the nfs-kernel-server package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nfs-kernel-server

Purging nfs-kernel-server

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of nfs-kernel-server from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge nfs-kernel-server

To delete configuration and/or data files of nfs-kernel-server and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nfs-kernel-server
