How to install node-get on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install node-get

Installing node-get package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install node-get

node-get package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)

name node-get
version 1.1.5+ds1-2
description high-level HTTP client for NodeJS

Uninstall node-get

To remove just node-get package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove node-get

Uninstall node-get and it’s dependent packages

To remove the node-get package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-get

Purging node-get

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of node-get from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge node-get

To delete configuration and/or data files of node-get and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-get
