How to install node-merge-descriptors on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install node-merge-descriptors

Installing node-merge-descriptors package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install node-merge-descriptors

Uninstall node-merge-descriptors

To remove just node-merge-descriptors package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove node-merge-descriptors

Uninstall node-merge-descriptors and it’s dependent packages

To remove the node-merge-descriptors package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-merge-descriptors

Purging node-merge-descriptors

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of node-merge-descriptors from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge node-merge-descriptors

To delete configuration and/or data files of node-merge-descriptors and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-merge-descriptors
