How to install notary on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install notary

Installing notary package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install notary

notary package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name notary
version 0.1~ds1-1
description tool for running and interacting with trusted collections
subsection devel

Uninstall notary

To remove just notary package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove notary

Uninstall notary and it’s dependent packages

To remove the notary package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove notary

Purging notary

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of notary from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge notary

To delete configuration and/or data files of notary and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove notary
