How to install nova-compute-lxc on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install nova-compute-lxc

Installing nova-compute-lxc package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nova-compute-lxc

Uninstall nova-compute-lxc

To remove just nova-compute-lxc package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove nova-compute-lxc

Uninstall nova-compute-lxc and it’s dependent packages

To remove the nova-compute-lxc package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nova-compute-lxc

Purging nova-compute-lxc

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of nova-compute-lxc from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge nova-compute-lxc

To delete configuration and/or data files of nova-compute-lxc and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nova-compute-lxc
