How to install nova-network on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install nova-network

Installing nova-network package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nova-network

nova-network package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name nova-network
version 2:13.0.0-2
description OpenStack Compute – network manager
subsection net
website openstack.org / software / openstack-compute / 
maintainer PKG OpenStack

Uninstall nova-network

To remove just nova-network package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove nova-network

Uninstall nova-network and it’s dependent packages

To remove the nova-network package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nova-network

Purging nova-network

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of nova-network from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge nova-network

To delete configuration and/or data files of nova-network and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nova-network
