How to install octave-data-smoothing on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install octave-data-smoothing

Installing octave-data-smoothing package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install octave-data-smoothing

Uninstall octave-data-smoothing

To remove just octave-data-smoothing package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove octave-data-smoothing

Uninstall octave-data-smoothing and it’s dependent packages

To remove the octave-data-smoothing package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove octave-data-smoothing

Purging octave-data-smoothing

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of octave-data-smoothing from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge octave-data-smoothing

To delete configuration and/or data files of octave-data-smoothing and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove octave-data-smoothing
