How to install omake on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install omake

Installing omake package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install omake

omake package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)

version 0.9.8.5-3-9+b1

Uninstall omake

To remove just omake package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove omake

Uninstall omake and it’s dependent packages

To remove the omake package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove omake

Purging omake

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of omake from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge omake

To delete configuration and/or data files of omake and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove omake
