How to install openhpi-plugin-ipmi on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install openhpi-plugin-ipmi

Installing openhpi-plugin-ipmi package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openhpi-plugin-ipmi

Uninstall openhpi-plugin-ipmi

To remove just openhpi-plugin-ipmi package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove openhpi-plugin-ipmi

Uninstall openhpi-plugin-ipmi and it’s dependent packages

To remove the openhpi-plugin-ipmi package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove openhpi-plugin-ipmi

Purging openhpi-plugin-ipmi

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of openhpi-plugin-ipmi from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge openhpi-plugin-ipmi

To delete configuration and/or data files of openhpi-plugin-ipmi and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove openhpi-plugin-ipmi
