How to install osc on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install osc

Installing osc package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install osc

osc package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name osc
version 0.152.0-1
description OpenSUSE (buildsystem) commander
subsection devel
website en.opensuse.org / openSUSE:OSC
maintainer Michal Čihař

Uninstall osc

To remove just osc package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove osc

Uninstall osc and it’s dependent packages

To remove the osc package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove osc

Purging osc

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of osc from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge osc

To delete configuration and/or data files of osc and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove osc
