How to install owncloud-apps on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install owncloud-apps

Installing owncloud-apps package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install owncloud-apps

owncloud-apps package information

maintainer ownCloud for Debian maintainers

Uninstall owncloud-apps

To remove just owncloud-apps package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove owncloud-apps

Uninstall owncloud-apps and it’s dependent packages

To remove the owncloud-apps package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove owncloud-apps

Purging owncloud-apps

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of owncloud-apps from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge owncloud-apps

To delete configuration and/or data files of owncloud-apps and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove owncloud-apps
