How to install pal on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install pal

Installing pal package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pal

pal package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name pal
version 0.4.3-8.1+b1
description command-line calendar program that can keep track of events
subsection utils
website palcal.sourceforge.net
maintainer Carsten Hey

Uninstall pal

To remove just pal package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove pal

Uninstall pal and it’s dependent packages

To remove the pal package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pal

Purging pal

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of pal from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge pal

To delete configuration and/or data files of pal and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pal
