How to install pan on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install pan

Installing pan package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pan

pan package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name pan
version 0.140-1
description newsreader based on GTK2, which looks like Forte Agent
subsection news

maintainer Dominique Dumont

Uninstall pan

To remove just pan package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove pan

Uninstall pan and it’s dependent packages

To remove the pan package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pan

Purging pan

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of pan from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge pan

To delete configuration and/or data files of pan and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pan
