How to install partimage-server on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install partimage-server

Installing partimage-server package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install partimage-server

partimage-server package information

description server to use partimage across a network

Uninstall partimage-server

To remove just partimage-server package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove partimage-server

Uninstall partimage-server and it’s dependent packages

To remove the partimage-server package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove partimage-server

Purging partimage-server

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of partimage-server from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge partimage-server

To delete configuration and/or data files of partimage-server and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove partimage-server
