How to install pdns-backend-pgsql on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install pdns-backend-pgsql

Installing pdns-backend-pgsql package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pdns-backend-pgsql

Uninstall pdns-backend-pgsql

To remove just pdns-backend-pgsql package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove pdns-backend-pgsql

Uninstall pdns-backend-pgsql and it’s dependent packages

To remove the pdns-backend-pgsql package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pdns-backend-pgsql

Purging pdns-backend-pgsql

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of pdns-backend-pgsql from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge pdns-backend-pgsql

To delete configuration and/or data files of pdns-backend-pgsql and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pdns-backend-pgsql
