How to install perl-byacc on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install perl-byacc

Installing perl-byacc package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install perl-byacc

perl-byacc package information

maintainer Debian QA Group

Uninstall perl-byacc

To remove just perl-byacc package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove perl-byacc

Uninstall perl-byacc and it’s dependent packages

To remove the perl-byacc package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove perl-byacc

Purging perl-byacc

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of perl-byacc from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge perl-byacc

To delete configuration and/or data files of perl-byacc and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove perl-byacc
