How to install php-console-commandline on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install php-console-commandline

Installing php-console-commandline package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install php-console-commandline

Uninstall php-console-commandline

To remove just php-console-commandline package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove php-console-commandline

Uninstall php-console-commandline and it’s dependent packages

To remove the php-console-commandline package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove php-console-commandline

Purging php-console-commandline

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of php-console-commandline from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge php-console-commandline

To delete configuration and/or data files of php-console-commandline and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove php-console-commandline
