How to install planets on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install planets

Installing planets package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install planets

planets package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name planets
version 0.1.13-16
description Gravitation simulation of planetary bodies
subsection science

maintainer Debian OCaml Maintainers

Uninstall planets

To remove just planets package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove planets

Uninstall planets and it’s dependent packages

To remove the planets package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove planets

Purging planets

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of planets from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge planets

To delete configuration and/or data files of planets and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove planets
