How to install plum on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install plum

Installing plum package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install plum

plum package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name plum
version 2.33.1-10
description IRC proxy, stationing, logging, and bot program (pirc)
subsection net
maintainer GOTO Masanori

Uninstall plum

To remove just plum package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove plum

Uninstall plum and it’s dependent packages

To remove the plum package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove plum

Purging plum

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of plum from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge plum

To delete configuration and/or data files of plum and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove plum
