How to install pork on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install pork

Installing pork package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pork

pork package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name pork
version 0.99.8.1-3+b2
description Console-based AOL Instant Messenger & IRC client
subsection net

Uninstall pork

To remove just pork package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove pork

Uninstall pork and it’s dependent packages

To remove the pork package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pork

Purging pork

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of pork from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge pork

To delete configuration and/or data files of pork and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pork
