How to install postgresql-9.5-debversion on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install postgresql-9.5-debversion

To remove the postgresql-9.5-debversion package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove postgresql-9.5-debversion

Purging postgresql-9.5-debversion

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of postgresql-9.5-debversion from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge postgresql-9.5-debversion

To delete configuration and/or data files of postgresql-9.5-debversion and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove postgresql-9.5-debversion
