How to install red5-server on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install red5-server

Installing red5-server package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install red5-server

red5-server package information

Uninstall red5-server

To remove just red5-server package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove red5-server

Uninstall red5-server and it’s dependent packages

To remove the red5-server package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove red5-server

Purging red5-server

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of red5-server from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge red5-server

To delete configuration and/or data files of red5-server and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove red5-server
