How to install reniced on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install reniced

Installing reniced package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install reniced

reniced package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name reniced
version 1.19-1
description renice running processes based on regular expressions
subsection utils

maintainer Christian Garbs

Uninstall reniced

To remove just reniced package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove reniced

Uninstall reniced and it’s dependent packages

To remove the reniced package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove reniced

Purging reniced

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of reniced from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge reniced

To delete configuration and/or data files of reniced and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove reniced
