How to install restorecond on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install restorecond

Installing restorecond package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install restorecond

restorecond package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name restorecond
version 2.4-4
description SELinux core policy utilities (restorecond utilities)
subsection utils
website userspace.selinuxproject.org
maintainer Debian SELinux maintainers

Uninstall restorecond

To remove just restorecond package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove restorecond

Uninstall restorecond and it’s dependent packages

To remove the restorecond package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove restorecond

Purging restorecond

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of restorecond from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge restorecond

To delete configuration and/or data files of restorecond and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove restorecond
