How to install root-system-rootd on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install root-system-rootd

Installing root-system-rootd package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install root-system-rootd

Uninstall root-system-rootd

To remove just root-system-rootd package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove root-system-rootd

Uninstall root-system-rootd and it’s dependent packages

To remove the root-system-rootd package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove root-system-rootd

Purging root-system-rootd

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of root-system-rootd from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge root-system-rootd

To delete configuration and/or data files of root-system-rootd and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove root-system-rootd
