How to install rt4-db-mysql on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install rt4-db-mysql

Installing rt4-db-mysql package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rt4-db-mysql

Uninstall rt4-db-mysql

To remove just rt4-db-mysql package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove rt4-db-mysql

Uninstall rt4-db-mysql and it’s dependent packages

To remove the rt4-db-mysql package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rt4-db-mysql

Purging rt4-db-mysql

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of rt4-db-mysql from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge rt4-db-mysql

To delete configuration and/or data files of rt4-db-mysql and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rt4-db-mysql
