How to install s3d on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install s3d

Installing s3d package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install s3d

s3d package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)

name s3d
version 0.2.2-14
description 3d network display server
subsection net
website s3d.sourceforge.net
maintainer Simon Wunderlich

Uninstall s3d

To remove just s3d package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove s3d

Uninstall s3d and it’s dependent packages

To remove the s3d package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove s3d

Purging s3d

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of s3d from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge s3d

To delete configuration and/or data files of s3d and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove s3d
