How to install spamprobe on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install spamprobe

Installing spamprobe package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install spamprobe

spamprobe package information

distro Debian Unstable (Sid)
section Main
name spamprobe
version 1.4d-14+b1
description Bayesian spam filter
subsection mail
website spamprobe.sf.net
maintainer Debian QA Group

Uninstall spamprobe

To remove just spamprobe package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove spamprobe

Uninstall spamprobe and it’s dependent packages

To remove the spamprobe package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove spamprobe

Purging spamprobe

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of spamprobe from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge spamprobe

To delete configuration and/or data files of spamprobe and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove spamprobe
