How to install sqlite3-pcre on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install sqlite3-pcre

Installing sqlite3-pcre package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sqlite3-pcre

Uninstall sqlite3-pcre

To remove just sqlite3-pcre package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove sqlite3-pcre

Uninstall sqlite3-pcre and it’s dependent packages

To remove the sqlite3-pcre package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove sqlite3-pcre

Purging sqlite3-pcre

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of sqlite3-pcre from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge sqlite3-pcre

To delete configuration and/or data files of sqlite3-pcre and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove sqlite3-pcre
