How to install squid-deb-proxy on Debian Unstable (Sid)

Install squid-deb-proxy

Installing squid-deb-proxy package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install squid-deb-proxy

Uninstall squid-deb-proxy

To remove just squid-deb-proxy package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove squid-deb-proxy

Uninstall squid-deb-proxy and it’s dependent packages

To remove the squid-deb-proxy package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove squid-deb-proxy

Purging squid-deb-proxy

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of squid-deb-proxy from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge squid-deb-proxy

To delete configuration and/or data files of squid-deb-proxy and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove squid-deb-proxy
