How to install swi-prolog-java on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install swi-prolog-java

Installing swi-prolog-java package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install swi-prolog-java

Uninstall swi-prolog-java

To remove just swi-prolog-java package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove swi-prolog-java

Uninstall swi-prolog-java and it’s dependent packages

To remove the swi-prolog-java package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove swi-prolog-java

Purging swi-prolog-java

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of swi-prolog-java from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge swi-prolog-java

To delete configuration and/or data files of swi-prolog-java and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove swi-prolog-java
