How to install system-config-lvm on Debian Unstable (Sid)


Install system-config-lvm

Installing system-config-lvm package on Debian Unstable (Sid) is as easy as running the following command on terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install system-config-lvm

Uninstall system-config-lvm

To remove just system-config-lvm package itself from Debian Unstable (Sid) execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove system-config-lvm

Uninstall system-config-lvm and it’s dependent packages

To remove the system-config-lvm package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed from Debian Sid.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove system-config-lvm

Purging system-config-lvm

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of system-config-lvm from Debian Sid then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge system-config-lvm

To delete configuration and/or data files of system-config-lvm and it’s dependencies from Debian Sid then execute:

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove system-config-lvm
